superfood CBD energy balls

saw a meme the other day that said something along the lines of “why do bloggers feel the need to write a whole damn essay before the recipe? we don’t need to know what inspired you to make this dish, sarah” and I DIED. so with that in mind, we’re just gonna cut to the chase and simply share this bomb ass recipe with you ~

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
– 1.2 oz bag of freeze-dried (not just frozen) raspberries
– 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
– 1/4 cup hemp seeds
– 1/4 chia seeds
– 1 cup pitted dates
– 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
– 1 tablespoon coconut oil
– 1 cup coconut flakes
– 1 sliced lemon
– 1 cup goji berries
– 2 mL CBD oil* (we used an unflavored select tincture that can be purchased online here)
– blender and/or food processor

HOW TO MAKE IT HAPPEN:
1. pour the contents of the freeze-dried raspberries into your food processor and blend until into a fine powder and set aside
2. combine pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, chia seeds, pitted dates, cocoa powder, coconut oil, and CBD oil in your food processor
3. blend until it is a batter-like consistency (add drops of water as needed to help create a wet, sticky consistency)
4. pour into a bowl and use hands to roll into 12 energy ball bites, individually rolling each of them into the raspberry powder and coconut flakes as needed
5. squeeze lemon juice on ones that are not rolled in raspberry powder to add flavor
6. refrigerate for at least 1 hour & enjoy!
